Let’s go to Hebrews 13:8, and it says and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Folks, and I do not know why you have a hard time with it, and God is the same forever. and I meet people talking about all of the different ways that you could be saved, but it is always been by faith and God has not changed, and there is continuity from the old, from Genesis to Revelation, continuity and God wants, and God wants to live on the inside of you and he wants to have an intimate and a personal relationship with his people. He is looking for somebody that wants that type of relationship.

When we use the Old Testament, and we might say, that would be the Old Testament. If you don’t understand the old, you cannot know the new. There were some builders, and one built a house on the rock, and one built the house on the sand and when the storms of life came, and one fell, and one collapsed, and if you don’t know the foundation of the word and you don’t know the Old Testament, you will have a hard time, you need the foundation and you need the understanding that God is still working with his people in a very similar way like he always has, and the same way.

Good morning I’m pastor Jeff Lane and I missed you today, and I felt like a kid waiting for Christmas to get back to see what God would do tonight, and I mean that with all sincerity and I really have an excited about being here tonight. it just felt like last, last night, and everything last night, and reading your letters, and WOW.

God is good, isn’t he? And he is so good, now let’s go to the Lord in prayer, and father we thank you for what we are about to receive, do pray that you would bless this word to our spirit and I do pray tonight in the name of Jesus that you would open up the hearts and the minds and the ears, and let us see and give us understanding, and for the revelation knowledge, father, and that we might know you more intimately. and Lord we do not want to know about you, but we want to know you. and father tonight, to pray that we could know you.

And for all that you are and for all that you have gone and whatever you will do, and Lord, and I pray that people can have an assurance of your presence in their lives, and father we thank you for these things in the name of jesus and in jesus name we pray, and we praise you, amen, amen. and I mentioned, and I put this on the screen, and you can see my blog, and it would be interesting and take a look at it and that would be on your screen, and please, and you can hit the like button, and that helps, trust me and that does me good. all right, let’s go to Hebrews 13:8, and it says and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

and he is writing a new covenant, and now let’s get the word, okay? And we will jump over to the book of Exodus, it will be chapter 3 and okay? ask of this chapter 3 and I want you to see a little something and let’s begin with verse one. And Moses was tending the flock, and then he took the flock to the far side of the desert, and he came to the mountain of God, and the Angel appeared on to him, and Moses saw a bush was on fire however it was not burned up.

and Moses wanted to see it and why the Bush did not burn up. and when the Lord sawthat he had gone over and God called him and he said, Moses, and Moses, and Moses said, I am here, and the Lord said, take off your shoes, and this is holy ground. and I am the God of your fathers, and at this Moses hit his face and he was afraid to see God.

and the Lord said, I have seen the misery of my people, I have heard their cries because of the slave drivers. I am concerned about their suffering. I have rescued them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of the land to bring them to a good land, and the home of the Canaanites, and all of the enemies, and now, the cry and listen, and now the cries of the people has reached to me, and I see how my people are opressed and I will tell you and bring my people out of Egypt.

and Moses said, and how can I go to Pharaoh and bring these people out? and the Lord said, I will be with you and this would be a sign, and when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on the mountain, and Moses said, and what if I say, the God of the Lord has sent me to you, and they will say and what is his name? A and the Lord said, I am, who I am. and this is what you will say, the great I am has sent meto you. and then God said, the Lord, the God of your fathers, and the God of your for fathers, and this is my name for ever, and I will be remembered from generation to generation. and why did God say that he was the great I am? it means he is present and active.

if you have been serving God for 400 years, and you hear how God will bring you out of the slavery, and then you would wonder if you would really would do. maybe he would really be there. and don’t we ask ourselves the same questions, as we go through trials, and we should be honest and we go through things, every body, and they will say, and God, are you there? and God simply says, I am that I am. I am always there.

and he was with Israel and what did he say? and he said he would delivered them out of the world and out of the troubles of the world, he would save them, he would be there for them, and he said, remember me forever. and why would that be so important for us? well, now let’s go to the book of John, and look at the book of John, and Lord, help me, a: 31 from the book of John, and to the Jews, who had believed upon him, and if you listen to my teachings, you are my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. and they said, we are Abraham’s descendents, and we have never been slaves, and how can you say that we will be free? and Jesus says, and if you commit sin, you are a slave to sin, but a son belongs to the father forever.

and if you are free, you will be free indeed. and look at what he says, and is about this last night, and we need to make Jesus the Lord of our lives, and do you know what that means to have a king? and we live in a democracy and we don’t understand theocracy. I tell my kids, and we would be doing something and they would argue, and I would say, we are doing this.

I say, and I am the king, and we do what I say, because I will have peace. and when you are the king, they can do what you say. God is the King and Jesus is the King. and we must have him as the Lord of our lives and if we live in his freedom then we must obey him, and we must do what he says. if you are set free, listen, and they said, and we are not slaves to anybody, but they were slaves to sin,and they obeyed sin, however, and look, but, and he says when you follow me, if you are free, you will be free indeed.

and he gets into a big talk with the Jewish people. and go to verse 48 and he says, and the Jews answered, and we say that you are demon possessed, and the world wants to call God bad, and that he is evil, and he is out to take away your freedom. but a freedom from what? the sins of the world. and Jesus said I am not possessed, but I honor my father, I do not seek my own glory, and I know the judge, and if anyone will listen to me he will never see death.

and this is explained, and they said, you are demon possessed, and you say that anybody keeps your word, they will never die. are you greater than Abraham? and Who Do You Think You Are?? and Jesus says, and Jesus says, look at this, if I glorify myself, that is nothing, and my father will glorify me. even though you do not know the father, I know him, and I cannot be a liar like you, but his word, and your father Abraham rejoiced if he could think about my day, but you are not 50 years old they said, and you have seen Abraham? I will tell you the truth, before Abraham was born, I am. and look at their response, and they wanted to stone him, and then Jesus slipped away. and what he had said was, I am the great I am, and they wanted to kill him, and that was like blasphemy, to say that he was God.

I am telling you, and God is the same yesterday, today and forever. and he says, you will know be my my name, and I am. and Jesus is the great I am. and he is here to set you free, he is the same. God wants to set you free from whatever you are a slave to.

but he must be the Lord of your life, and do not be like the Jews and know about God, and have a surface knowledge, you must have a revelation of God and a personal relationship. and you might know my wife and maybe you know her, but I know my wife and she knows me. and we are married to Christ, and knowing, and this is a trust, and you know to the character and you can trust them.

God wants to set you free. and I read all of that for this, second Chronicles chapter 7. and it says if my people that are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will listen from heaven, I will forgive them and I will heal the land. and I will be opened, and I will listen to the prayers in this place.

and people will say, that will, and that was for the Jews, but God is the same forever. I am telling you, listen to me, please, and please God let them see this. give them a revelation knowledge, and not just information, but Lord, and I pray this could get into their hearts. and if you will humble yourself and pray, and the word of God will not return to him empty, and you mean, he can heal the nation? and if you will humble yourself and pray, and seek his face, and he says he will heal the land. He will heal the country. And he will heal you of whatever you need.

And he will heal your household and finances and body, he will heal you and save you from whatever you need to be saved. him he will set you free but you must make him the Lord, and not just the Savior, but the Lord of your life. he is the king, and he is the king. and you cannot say God I will share the throne, but you say no, you bow down, and he will set you free, he will set you free.

he will set you free. and we do not know how to humble ourselves. and we talk about the president like a dog. but we do not know.

and we have got to humble ourselves before the authority of the word of God, and the Word was with God and it is God, you cannot separate the word from God, it is his authority. and you cannot separate, and they are 1, and you must bow down. all share one last thing and move on. and Moses was told, take off your sandals, and humble yourself before the Lord..

And in John, and when you see John maybe the apostle, and he was a teenager, he was following Jesus. and it says, he leaned on his bosom at the table, and when we see him, and he was maybe in his 90s, and that would be the book of Revelation, and he was like Moses. and he fell down before the great I am, and he was silent for 30 minutes. and he was prostrate before the Lord. and he is not simply your father, but he is the king of Kings and the Lord of lords.

and he is God, and he wants to take you to a place where he would be the Lord of your life, and he will make everything brand-new. and will you let him do that tonight? and pray for our great nation, and pray that God can make our nation great and I care who would be the president, but my God is the king of Kings. and whoever might bow down to the Lord, and if we will see him, he will deliver us. and he will deliver you from whatever bondage you face.

simply receive him into your heart. and you can ask him to forgive you, and then you can say Lord, I will put you on the throne of my life, and I bow down to you and I will humble myself before you. and you are my Lord, and you are my King. and if you will do that, you will be set free from whatever you need to be free from. and now, and I must do some formalities. and we have three pledge lines.
